Every Sunday, Brenton and I sit down and attempt to figure out a menu for the next week. That way we know what our grocery list is and what we need to buy. It also helps us empty out our fridge. A staple in Brenton and I's diet is chicken and asparagus, but as much as we love it.. it can get kind of old. In one of the cookbooks we have, I found a fun and easy solution. (Actually, its "fresh and easy" ;))
Veggie Spiral Sticks!
What you need:
12-16 fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
1 tube refrigerated breadsticks (we used garlic flavored)
1 egg white, lightly beaten
*if you want, you can sprinkle cheese on top too*

Cook asparagus for 3-5 minutes in a pot of water. Drain and immediately put in cold water. Drain and pat dry.
Cut each breadstick in half. Wrap in a spiral around each vegetable. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray and tuck ends of dough under the veggies to secure.
Brush with egg white. Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes or until golden.
Enjoy!
